Programs & Incentives
Many of our services are linked to incentives and rebates made available by local and state programs and utility companies. We will make you aware of any rebates you are eligible for, and walk you through all the necessary paperwork. Each program aims to lower the upfront costs of services aimed at improving a home’s efficiency and comfort. Although we’ll suggest incentive programs based on what your home specifically needs, we’ve listed the main programs we participate in and utilities we’re partnered with below:
NYSERDA Home Performance with ENERGY STAR
This program works in the same way as the Green Home Long Island program in that it requires an energy assessment to start, which is followed by a report that outlines suggested improvements. You can then choose to use the programs financing options to finance any improvements. This program also comes with a 10% discount for eligible home energy improvements. If you find us through this program or we decide this would be a good program for you to use, we will include as many eligible energy improvements as possible so you get the most out of your budget.

The New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) has teamed with Home Performance with Energy Star (HPwES) to provide energy saving services at an affordable price.
Two specific NYSERDA services we'd like to highlight are the On-Bill Recovery Financing Program and the Assisted Home Performance Programs (AHP). The "On-Bill" program allows you to finance upgrades through a charge on your utility bill, while AHP provides discounts that can cover 50% of the cost of energy efficient improvements for eligible homeowners and services.
Your local utility company, PSEG Long Island, has a variety of rebates and incentives which will help you save money and energy.

These incentives span four main categories: appliances and products, lighting and fixtures, cooling and heating, and Home Efficiency in general. We are well versed in all of the various incentive packages and rebates on efficient home appliances and equipment. We’ll make sure to match our suggested improvements to as many money saving rebates and incentives as possible and walk you through the necessary paperwork.

The Long Island Green Homes program was initiated by the town of Babylon and includes homes in Babylon Village, West Babylon, Deer Park, Wyandanch, Wheatley Heights,
Testimonials
Matthew C., Dix Hills, NY
We had heard about a program where we could get a free energy audit through New York State. At first we chose Analytic for the audit only because they were local to us, but then we chose them to do the needed work as they were very meticulous in the audit and took the time to explain issues that existed in our house.
We have clearly tightened up our house for efficiency in the winter with all the recommended fixes from Analytic. They were sincere and honest with us regarding which issues to address that would have the greatest impact for savings with our budget. (read more)
East Farmingdale, Amityville, Amity Harbor, Lindenhurst and Copiague. We are proud to be a participating contractor in this program and a town licensed, BPI energy professional. As outlined on the Long Island Green Homes website, there are six steps involved in the Green Home incentive program process:
-
Fill out their “Self Check Inventory” and submit it to their office or online.
-
Provide two years of utility usage data.
-
You will then be contacted by LIGH to schedule a home energy audit with a town licensed, BPI energy professional. This is where we come in.
-
We will evaluate your home and provide you with a home energy assessment that details areas of your home that need improvements.
-
You’ll then work with us to choose and implement desired improvements. We will never suggest anything you don’t need or push anything you don’t want. You can either pay for the upgrades in full or use the Green Homes program to finance them.
-
Enjoy the improved health, comfort, efficiency and value of your home!
